URvet Care is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary Assistants to join our team in New York City. We are a full-service veterinary clinic committed to providing exceptional care for pets and outstanding service to their owners.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures and patient
  care.
• Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas, ensuring they are clean and well-
  stocked.
• Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments.
• Provide compassionate care and comfort to pets during their visits.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect samples.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Educate pet owners on basic animal care, nutrition, and post-treatment care.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and dedicated to animal welfare.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional veterinary-related education or certification is a plus.
