Welcome to URvet Care

The Future of Pet Healthcare Starts Here

At URvet Care, we are not just creating another veterinary clinic; we are building a sanctuary where pets and their families experience care like never before. We are on a mission to break down the walls of conventional veterinary medicine and revolutionize the industry by combining cutting-edge technology, expert medical care, and genuine compassion—all under one roof.

This is a new era of pet healthcare—one where innovation meets heart, and where every pet and every pet parent is valued as part of our family. Gone are the days of fragmented, stressful vet visits. With URvet Care, we’ve reimagined what pet healthcare should be—seamless, comprehensive, and available whenever you need it.

Our state-of-the-art facilities across New York City are designed with you and your pet in mind, offering everything from routine wellness check-ups to emergency care and advanced surgical treatments. And with 24 hour availability, we’re always here to provide top-tier care, no matter the hour.

URvet Care isn’t just another veterinary clinic—it’s the result of a deeply personal journey, born from love, challenges, and a shared desire to create something extraordinary for pets and their people.

The Beginnings

URvet Care wasn’t just founded—it was born from a deeply personal journey of love, challenges, and the belief that together, we could create something extraordinary for pets and their people.

Our story began when we moved to New York City, filled with hope that we’d find a veterinary practice that treated our pets like family. Instead, we were met with impersonal clinics that felt cold and transactional. When our beloved dog Mason was injured, we searched for warmth and compassion, but the follow-up left us feeling alone. The care was detached, and the emotional support we desperately needed wasn’t there.

At the same time, Amanda was facing her own medical struggles. After a routine surgery led to a severe staph infection, we witnessed firsthand how human healthcare provided not just physical support, but the emotional care that lifted her spirit. We quickly realized something was missing in veterinary care—the same level of empathy and emotional support that humans receive in their most vulnerable moments.

Amanda’s emotional support dog, Jax, entered her life at just the right time. His presence offered a kind of love that no medicine could replicate. Together, they healed—Jax providing the comfort Amanda needed. But when Jax later faced his own health challenge, we found ourselves in the same frustrating cycle: searching for comprehensive, trusted care that felt personal. His primary vet couldn’t provide the specialized treatment he needed, and we were left to navigate a fragmented system, forced to hand him over to unfamiliar faces in our time of distress.

It was during these struggles that we asked ourselves: Why isn’t there a place where pets can receive trusted, compassionate, and comprehensive care from one unified team? A place that feels personal, where pets are treated like family, and where pet parents feel supported every step of the way.

From Frustration to Vision

We realized something profound: if the system wasn’t providing the care we wanted for our beloved pets, we had to create it ourselves. The experiences we went through—both as patients and as pet owners—became the driving force behind URvet Care. This wasn’t just about fixing a broken system; it was about building an entirely new model that reflected the values of empathy, compassion, and trust.

We didn’t want to simply open another veterinary clinic—we wanted to create something revolutionary. We envisioned a place where pets would be treated with the same level of care and respect that humans receive in modern medicine. We wanted to ensure that no pet owner would ever feel uncertain or unsupported in their pet’s care. We set out to build a practice where trust, empathy, and continuity are at the core of everything we do.

The Birth of URvet Care

We built URvet Care—a place where our experiences, frustrations, and hopes came together to create something truly extraordinary. Our vision was simple yet powerful: to combine the best aspects of human healthcare with the warmth and accessibility of a neighborhood vet. URvet Care is designed to be a one-stop haven for modern pet owners, where comprehensive care, trust, and empathy are always guaranteed.

We knew that veterinary clinics could be intimidating for pets, which is why we set out to make URvet Care feel like home. Our waiting rooms aren’t sterile or impersonal—they’re designed to feel like your living room, a place where both you and your pet can truly relax. But behind this comforting exterior is a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology and a team of the best doctors in the field. This blend of warmth and innovation ensures that pets receive top-tier care in a space that feels safe and welcoming.

Our Commitment

We understand the powerful bond between humans and their pets, and we’re committed to nurturing that bond. That’s why URvet Care is more than just a veterinary clinic—it’s a place where pets and their people are treated with care and compassion. Our entire team is Fear Free Certified, meaning we prioritize your pet’s emotional well-being during every visit. We’ve seen firsthand how fear and anxiety can impact pets during medical visits, and we’ve made it our mission to create a stress-free experience for everyone involved.

But URvet Care isn’t just about the pets—it’s about the people too. Our doctors are more than professionals; they’re partners who genuinely care. They’ll follow up with you after visits, listen to your concerns, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. We’ve built a culture of care where trust is earned, and relationships are built to last.

A Vision for the Future

At URvet Care, we are more than just a facility. We believe that veterinary care should be holistic, compassionate, and continuous. From the first check-up to specialized treatments, from routine wellness to emergency care, URvet Care is designed to be a lifelong partner in your pet’s health journey.

Evan Stoopler

Founder

Evan Stoopler worked on Wall Street before he and his wife, Aimee, were hit with the idea to start their own pet care clinic. After moving into Manhattan from Long Island, Evan and Aimee were on the hunt for a vet for their dog Mason, a 10 year old Maltipoo, who had hurt himself jumping off the bed. The vet they found upcharged them for anti-inflammatory drugs, gave an impersonal and incorrect diagnosis, as well as poor customer service start to finish. It was then that Evan saw an opportunity to provide New York City with the best medicine, best customer care and best customer service to the furry patient and the patient’s family.

Co-founders and husband and wife team, Evan and Aimee are thrilled to be disruptors in the veterinary care space, and are having fun while doing it. The duo works hard to find the best quality Veterinarians, Specialists, Practitioners, and Client Service Representatives – and want these friendly faces to care for your pets each time you walk into a URvet Care location!

This isn’t a transient practice, but a permanent home, and to teach, train, mentor and provide the best environment for all of their staff is a founding principle. The Stoopler’s are crafting a family pet practice that is old school medicine, the way we used to know it – with modern day technology and knowledge, and, like Mason, they only want the best for pets and pet owners citywide, and soon, nationwide!

She understands that beyond medical proficiency, exceptional customer experience is fundamental to ensuring peace of mind for pet owners. Her dedication to creating a warm, welcoming environment where both pets and their humans feel valued is evident in every aspect of Urvet Care’s operations.

Drawing from her role as a Board Certified Patient Advocate, Aimee brings a unique perspective to Urvet Care.
