Iraj Manzoor
Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, Iraj moved to NYC in 2015 to pursue her passion to work with animals. She grew up taking care of them and from the age of ten, she knew animal care would be her focus.
Having volunteered with animal nonprofits in Pakistan, she continued that good work at the ASPCA in the States. She has been a kitten nurse caregiver, a senior surgical assistant, and a patient care coordinator.
She sees the emotional wellbeing of her patients and the people who care for them as a driving force in her life today. Always learning, she jumped on board with the Fear Free initiative which has completely changed the way she looks at patient care now.

She strongly believes “the pet parents, caregivers, and the veterinary staff have to work together to build a better relationship between humans and their furry companions.”
Her dream is to go to Cambodia to volunteer for their nonprofit wildlife organization. Fornow, her three rescued cats, Sherlock, Olive, and Bahadur keep her plenty busy
