Suzanne Thomas, LVT

Suzanne grew up in Long Island and currently makes Northern New Jersey her home. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and pursued a successful career in retail operations. She further acted on her passion of veterinary nursing and received her second bachelor’s degree from Mercy College in Veterinary Technology. She became the lead oncology technician at a busy specialty practice but also found herself immersed in managing two general practices and training veterinary teams on communication and customer service. This was a natural pivot into developing her skills into a leadership role within veterinary medicine. This turning point, is indeed, Suzanne’s sweet spot, as it feeds her passion for animals, and allows her to use her operational business background to enrich the lives of our pets and our pet parents.

We are thrilled to welcome Suzanne to URvet Care. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician in NYS, Suzanne understands our culture to build our team, enrich them with the support that they need to succeed, and most importantly offer excellent veterinary medicine with warmth, compassion and with the highest standards possible.

While Suzanne is not in the clinic, you can find her spending family time with her wonderful husband Patrice, and her 5 year old twins, Declan and Teagan. Of course her family would not be complete without her three pets, two dogs, Mavie and Miley and Louie the cat. She is an avid fitness enthusiast and loves competing in strength competitions.

When Suzanne is not running after her kids, her dogs or her husband, she can be found in the gym or reading a good book and always, with a cup of coffee in hand!
