We cultivate lasting relationships with pet owners through transparency, reliability, and unwavering dedication to their pets’ health and well-being. Trust is the foundation of everything we do—whether it’s openly discussing a treatment plan, providing updates in real-time, or being available for questions whenever they arise. We are here to guide, support, and always deliver on our promises.
More than just a veterinary clinic, URvet Care is a community. We’ve built strong partnerships with pet owners, rescues, and local businesses because we know it takes a village to give pets the happy, healthy lives they deserve. Our Fear Free Certified team is trained to minimize stress for pets, and our commitment to this approach stems from our deep understanding of how a calm, comfortable environment benefits both animals and their families.
The extraordinary level of care we offer doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because we care—deeply and genuinely. It happens because we have lived the challenges, joys, and emotions that come with loving a pet, and we want every family that walks through our doors to feel supported in every sense. Together, we can change what veterinary care looks like, feels like, and accomplishes for pets and their people.

Founder
Evan Stoopler worked on Wall Street before he and his wife, Aimee, were hit with the idea to start their own pet care clinic. After moving into Manhattan from Long Island, Evan and Aimee were on the hunt for a vet for their dog Mason, a 10 year old Maltipoo, who had hurt himself jumping off the bed. The vet they found upcharged them for anti-inflammatory drugs, gave an impersonal and incorrect diagnosis, as well as poor customer service start to finish. It was then that Evan saw an opportunity to provide New York City with the best medicine, best customer care and best customer service to the furry patient and the patient’s family.
Co-founders and husband and wife team, Evan and Aimee are thrilled to be disruptors in the veterinary care space, and are having fun while doing it. The duo works hard to find the best quality Veterinarians, Specialists, Practitioners, and Client Service Representatives – and want these friendly faces to care for your pets each time you walk into a URvet Care location!
This isn’t a transient practice, but a permanent home, and to teach, train, mentor and provide the best environment for all of their staff is a founding principle. The Stoopler’s are crafting a family pet practice that is old school medicine, the way we used to know it – with modern day technology and knowledge, and, like Mason, they only want the best for pets and pet owners citywide, and soon, nationwide!

She understands that beyond medical proficiency, exceptional customer experience is fundamental to ensuring peace of mind for pet owners. Central to Aimee’s vision is the creation of safe and inclusive spaces, not only for clients but also for Urvet Care’s dedicated team. Director of Operations
Ashley began her career in veterinary medicine as the head technician in a one doctor practice before pivoting to a six doctor AAHA-accredited hospital with demanding challenges. Thus, her aptitude in implementing the policies and protocols to ensure the gold standard of care of veterinary medicine emerged.
Upon arriving in NYC, Ashley brought her skills to the Schwartzman AMC and managed the care coordination in the emergency services department. She worked to unravel the red tape so commonly present in insurance claims and appeal processes with tenacity and skill.
Ashley abides by the mantra, “Do the best you can until you know better; when you know better, do better.” She considers lifelong learning an absolute priority, and believes that continuing education and training are what make good employees great.
Ashley loves all cats, dogs, and exotic animals, and believes that companion animals are entitled to the same quality of care that humans receive. She enjoys reading, traveling, and still fosters neonatal kittens – “bottle babies”; she has cared for five to six dozen of them to date. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her wife and four cat children – Drake, Nicki Meownaj, Laserboy, and Biscuit.
